Comments Thread For: Cotto Eyes Margarito, Pacquiao, Then Retirement

WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto knows the end of his career is closing in. He anticipates his career to continue for at least two years at most. Before his considers retirement, he would like to avenge the only two defeats on his record - to Antonio Margarito and Manny Pacquiao. Margarito stopped Cotto in eleven rounds in 2008, and Pacquiao stopped the Puerto Rican star in the twelfth round of their 2009 bout.

    Looking to avoid Martinez eh?

Well, first off Cotto ain't getting that rematch. Pacquiao isnt fighting at 154 and both Bradley and JMM are looking to get in bed with Arum in order to fight Pacman in November if Floyd doesn't step up.

Second, Margarito is going to destroy his ass even worse than the first time around in the rematch.

Pffft...Cotto wants another crack at Pac?? See these types of "demands" really only say - "Gimme my money so I can retire happy"....and yes Marquez is in the same boat, simple as that....

What would Everyone think of Cotto if He actually Avenged his Losses? Not Likely though. I think he can beat Maragrito though. But damn he would be an all Time Great if he did actually avenge both Losses.

Martinez wants cotto at 160, not 154. Cotto has no business at 160.
