And what convinces you that Pirog is "obviously the best in the division currently (aside from Martinez)"? Beating another untested prospect?

I mean, Pirog looks good, but he's the guy who should be going after the Zbik's/Sturm's/William's of the world to establish his position. I can understand Martinez at 36yo preferring to take money fights or name opponents, along as he fulfills his mandatory obligation's.

Actually, I hate Margarito and it shows how much you know which is basically nothing. Sergio might be 36 but the guy started fighting at 22 I think, he doesn't have that much mileage on him and he's in his prime now because he started so late, look at Hopkins he got better with age. Also, why does Sergio deserve to get fights with Manny or Floyd? He's two weight division above them first of all and he can't sell ****. He hasn't even had a card on PPV, and his best gate today is 5,000 people...

Manny also stated IMMEDIETLY after his Margarito win he would never fight at 154 again and forfeited his belt. FFS its like people forget Manny started at 108 pounds, so now he has to move up another division probably come in weighing 148 like he ALWAYS does. Sergio would weigh in at 154 and on fight night and be up to 165 or 170 on fight night, he would be bigger than Margarito. Boxing has weight classes for a reason, if Manny was full fledged campaigning as a Jr. WW then I would be all for it. Just like Cotto/Martinez I'm all for it at 154, but not at 160 because again Cotto is MAXED at 154, once weight divisions. I'd like to see you duke it out with a guy who outweighs you by 20 pounds and see how you fair.

They haven't shown him since he beat Jacobs. They said he wasn't even a viable option for Martinez going into this fight......the issue is plain to see to me. HBO had a "cashcow" in Jacobs (or so they thought) and fully expected him to win against Pirog. I guarantee that had that fight gone the entire distance, the judges would have ripped Pirog off to give Jacobs the win.

Pirog ruined their pipe dream so they punish him by not showing him again. I wish they would set up a pirog fight personally. I like Pirog but he would get eaten up by Martinez and then it would be "Martinez is ducking this guy and that guy"........I tell you what......whatever guy they put in against him is going to lose, doesn't matter who it is going to be. Pirog, with his lack of experience and limited opposition, is going to break down and fall to pieces in there.

Si gana Zbik, pues quisas tengas la pelea. Pero si ganara el pendejo de Chavez, olvidalo. Puedes estar seguro de que buscara la mejor excusa, o la mas pendeja para evitar la pelea. Oh, I thought it was HBO that said Pirog and Zibik were not acceptable but Dzinz was. Pirog is really green to me; I'd like to see the fight though and think it's the best one for him prior to the outcome of the Zibik-Chavez Jr. fight. Dibella is a fruit anyways, he needs to let his fighter tax somebody's a55 within the next 5 months.

I hope he gets the chance to get rid of one of these guys fighting for Sergio's belt that he legitimately won.

The mandatory for the Zbik/Chavez winner is David Lemieux. I'd much rather see the winner fight a voluntary defense against someone other than Martinez and have Lemieux win and fight Sergio.

I'd also like to see him fight for the other belt he rightfully won, the WBO, against Pirog. Doubt that'll happen though, how come he doesn't feel the same about tht one? Is the fact that the WBC belt is held by chumps just coincidence?

Why the hell would Martinez and Dibella walk away from an HBO date? You're just making stuff up. Dzinziruk wasn't some last minute option. He was always on the table. And happily? Dibella was mad Dzinziruk was forced on Martinez because Dzinziruk was supposed to **** up Martinez' momentum of exciting fights.

Chavez won't have to vacate anything. Suliman will find a way to keep Sergio away from Chavez just how he found a way of giving chavez a tittle shot without facing Martinez And just how he found a way to make Canelo 154 WBC champion.
