still you're trying too hard...you're acting like you're a martinez fan since day one. it's a good win for margo but not a great win since both are not yet in their prime when they fought. it just surprises me that it bothers you so much that other posters like to hype margo's win over martinez. even your favorite fighter does worse than that...posting pac's defeats in his facebook account.
Does a win a decade ago over a green martinez count as a great win for margo??

Decent. Not great, by any means. Martinez wasn't known then, so it means less. That matters because there was a reason he wasn't known then. He wasn't as good then.
Neither of the wins for Campos or Margarito were that impressive in that sense. It simply doesn't mean much. They became far better and would be picked to destroy both fighters in rematches now. Meaning, they matter more now and are simply better fighters now.
Too much is placed on wins and losses.Comment

Pac was a "good" fighter (especially in Asian) at the time. Torrecampo seemed to think it was a good win. He was extremely overjoyed. Also, I don't think Martinez was a bum, just very green. It was a "good" win. NOT GREAT by where Sergio and Manny are today.Comment

pac was not a champ when he lost to torrecampo. he was still a prospect fighting bums and he happened to get caught by a bum. martinez was trying to become a legit contender by taking a step up in america against another contender. he lost and it set his career back a good bit.Comment
