      He shouldn't, but he will.

He shouldn't have got plenty of credit for his last 2 wins, but he has.

When he pummels Mosley half to death, he will get plenty of credit.

        sergiosexuals' logic:

-- margarito win over sergio means nothing.
-- sergio beating shoe maker frm kazakhistan means he's the best fighter on the planet.

Margarito was green too. Both were fighting on even terms, so yea, it's a good win.

You have to question that when because Sergio was very green. Then you can say a lot guys make that claim that and get beat early in their but Sergio started boxing at 20 that is crazy. Boxing is a sport where if you dont start at age 8 or 9 you really have no change of reaching the top of the sport.

The ref in that fight saved Sergio from a real beating though. The ref stopped it nice and early and let sergio fight another day. No lasting damage from that loss to Margarito.

There's no shame in losing to Antonio Margarito. People act as if he was never a good fighter for or something. And at the time, though green, he was starting to come into his own. It took Martinez many more years to do reach that point, so I can't rate it a great win. But looking at what Sergio has done since, it's hard to overlook it.
