He's a higher class than Yuri Foreman. Yuri Foreman does not beat Santos or Julio.

People aren't acting like he's the greatest ever, but he looked about as good as could look. If he wouldn't have stopped Dzinziruk the thread would have been "Why do people act like a wide UD over Dzinziruk makes Martinez better than Sugar Ray Robinson?"

It doesn't prove a whole lot, but he did what he was supposed to against another fighter in his prime who has good defense.

If it wasn't Dzinziruk it's "Gee, Martinez beat up the alcoholic shot Staphlik", "Martinez already KO'd the overrated fraud Paul Williams", "Mayorga is shot, a Martinez win means nothing", "Mayweather/Pacquiao had no chance anyways, they are welterweights at max".

He doesn't win no matter what he does.

Bingo. He deserves props but not the tipe of props he is getting. If I was new to boxing judging by peoples reactions I would think he beat the second coming of Ali.

            Think again.

Dzinziruk is in the same class with Foreman. No doubt about it.

your whole point was that foreman is not as good as dinziruk because foreman couldn't beat santos but he dominated him and knocked him down twice. santos was a junior middleweight champ when foreman fought him so obviously he didn't suck too bad.

I agree he deserves praise just not because he beat a mediocure fighter but because he did it in such stylish fashion. What bothers me is that people thought Dizzy was an up and coming beast. He gets his props strictly on consistency.
