IF......... this fight happens it won't be like the first fight. Not because of everyones conspiracies, but because Margaritos has taken way too much damage (Pacman, Mosley, Cotto, Williams, Cintron, etc) and Cotto doesn't fight with confidence of pre-margarito.

Love it or hate it; it is, what it is.

You know what, first couple of rounds against Pac Margarito did not look too bad, his jab looked good, he seemed like he showed good patience was trying to work a good game plan and seemed to follow the instructions of his corner well. Then rounds 3 and 4 came and Margarito suddenly it looked like someone flipped a switch and he started to unravel fast. The main reasons were the body work pac did in rd 4 and that uppercut he hit and cut Tony with same round.

Cotto and Tony will be a good fight. But there are many unknowns. The main one is What will be left of Margarito after he was absolutely brutalized? Secondly even if he is only slightly damaged to go right to a fight with Cotto or anyone else on that level. I mean it would be one thing for him to come back to test his confidence against a Roberto Garcia type fighter but Cotto is gonna hit him hard and often. I think the only way Cotto loses this fight is if he fights the wrong fight again or Margarito lands something early to turn the fight in his favor.
