I thought he looked good vs Pac considering he was fighting someone 10x faster than him.

Pac moves in and out for 12 rounds like no other, Cotto can't do that.

Steward never said that was the only way to beat Margarito. He said Cotto needs to back him up at times to make Margarito feel his full power. Everyone knows all Cotto has to do is keep the fight in the middle of the ring, stay of the ropes, use his jab and fight slow not fast like the first time.

Margo resistance is visibly diminished. If Cotto goes to the body he will have a better chance. If he doesn't like he has done in his last fights same outcome

Anyway besides Cotto, what other big money fight is out there for Margo? Yes he can fight Martinez or Paul Williams but they are not going to bring the money a Cotto rematch can bring

Its not the stamina, its the combination of that, his chin, and his relentlessness. in their fight cotto would throw very hard power punches, typically a punch will weaken a fighter, unfortunately they did nothing to him and sometimes it even appeared as if they gave him a bolt of energy.
that being said, if cotto had stayed in the middle of the ring more and not get caught on the ropes, then he could have pulled out the decision. didnt go to the body at all either.
