Those who avoided Sir Joe The Legend Killer Calzaghe

Steve Collins - Retired saying he only wanted Jones. Would later attempt a comeback after he didnt have to face Calzaghe
Bernard Hopkins - Rejected a a career high purse at that time to face Calzaghe while constantly calling out the 154 division
Roy Jones - Rejected a $5m offer to fight in America
Sven Ottke - Wouldnt even return Warrens phone calls
Jermain Taylor - Rejected a $4m offer saying he'd only fight Joe for $10m
Kelly Pavlik - Rejected offers before and after the Miranda fight

I cant say i blame them for ducking Sir Joe but i do feel they should be named and shamed

I lol @ all these Brits who think RJJ ducked Calzaghe. Please. Roy would have WHOOPED Calzaghe BADLY in say 2002. And anything less than a 60/40 split in RJJ's favor would have been a slap in the face.

Calzaghe is one of the most underrated fighters of the past 25 years.

If Joe had been American and black, and exactly the same otherwise, he would be well-respected and highly-regarded by the same people (like daggum) who despise and ridicule him.

The overrated Americans who refuse to leave the US like Jones, Taylor and Hopkins ducked him for years. Props to Mitchell, Sheika and Lacy for having the courage to go over and take their beatings from Joe.

And what did Joe's camp offer? 50/50? They can fawk off for that. Even if the fight WAS in America. They weren't serious about the fight, you, I, Warren, and everyonefackin' else knows it too.

Hey, I agree. Thing is, to say things like RJJ ducked Clazaghe in 2002 is fackin' preposterous! Joe would have gotten his "arse" whooped! And HE KNEW IT.
