All boxing experts agreed that Sergiy Dzinziruk was a tough opponent and the only guys that are not agreeing are the ones that are either in love with Mayweather or the ones in love with Pac. Sergio Martinez won fighter of the year last year because he had the best year by fighting the best and he achieved more than any other boxer and thats a damn fact. The guy fought better competition than any other guy and that includes Pac.

some of you guys want to bring up Sergio's opponents like they are bums but you guys are complete morons. Stack Sergio's opponents the last two years up to any other fighter's opponents and that includes Pac and you guys will realize the level of fighters he's been fighting is better than anyone else. You wanna complain that Sergio's opponents are has beens and never that great? Well how was Oscar, Hatton, Clotty, and Margarito accomplished when Manny decided to fight them?

sergio has fought very good competition but he needs to fight at 160 and later on move up to 168 and fight some real animals and win or loose he gets my upmost respect

Floyd won't fight Martinez for ****, he will be rusty he will maybe need a tune up fight and then he would go on to fight Martinez and i can't see Floyd sticking round for too much longer and i think if he goes into the fight not thinking he is the expectant fighter to win then he doesn't want to take the risk...

I bet you $1000 that Floyd doesn't fight him! Sergio is bigger, stronger and just as fast and Floyd never weighed one pound over 150. Sergio rehydrated up to 170 lbs last night and could conceivably do the same again. It would be career suicide and a sure way for Mayweather to lose his zero....

Overall, Pac has a better resume and no one is saying he doesn't but the fact is, for the past two years Sergio Martinez has accomplished more than an other fighter and he level of guys he's beaten and the way he's won has been better. Of course you can disagree but you would be in the minority.

Sergio was forced to go up in weight to 160 because no one wanted none of him at 154 if not he would still be in the Junior middleweight division.

Floyd fought de la hoya @ junior middleweight and pac fought margarito @ junior middleweight.

First off, Manny said he was one and done in the 154 lbs division before he even fought because he had trouble keeping the weight on. And Manny doesn't have a title in the 154 lbs division anymore, Canelo has that title now...

I understand Sergio wants to cash out before he retires, which will be soon. And he does deserve big money, but I think maybe he should start being more realistic. Cotto would work at 154-157, or call out the guys at 168. There can be big money for him with any of the Super 6ers, not as much as Pac or Floyd, but he can fight twice more this year if he wants.
