Exactly. He still can defend his 154-belt that he and Marg 'ritually' fought over in November. Running away from a challenge to defend a belt is the worst ducking ever (if one could classify different levels of ducking). And, people, stop that ****** excuse that Pac is too small for Martinez. He didn't just dip his toe in 154, he fought for a belt and took it unharmed, unscathed, from someone who stands 5'11' and KO'd the current P4P No3. It was decided, during training camp for Magarito when Manny was looking sluggish putting on weight, that his next bout would be at 147.

This was before Martinez KO'd Williams so I don't see that as a duck.

Also let's say your right. Manny also stated that 147 was too much after the Oscar fight and he would never fight there again.

He dominates Hatton and guys like Margarito, Cotto and Clottey all start looking like lunch meat.

So if Manny dominates Berto and Shane and gets past Floyd I fully expect him to take on Martinez as Sergio will be the only legit fighter left.

If Pac fights Berto and/or Floyd, I'll give him props even if he doesn't win. Think it's time at this point for Manny to fight someone that deserves a shot and has something to shake up the odds. No catchweights either.

I don't think Pac could beat him at 154 , too big too athletic. Floyd would be a good match up , doubt Floyd would risk it .
Sergio has a bright future , does seem to like to fight often like Manny .

Funny considering Pac fans give Manny credit for beating bigger guys. Even how they brag about how Manny broke Margarito's face. Wasn't that fight at 154? Oh forgot..... 150 catchweight for Martinez's belt. I noticed not too many Pac fans are saying Manny can win but rather he's too small to fight in a division he won his 8th title in, that his fans give him so much credit for. Too small excuse is a cop out.

Pac won over Marg but pac paid dearly getting hurt for it...he admitted this during the post fight interview..he, fredie and ariza have seen that that fight should be the last of its kind for pac...those who will say pac is a ducker if he no longer fights at the higher weight levels are entitled to their opinions...but pac is also entitled to protect his well being and fight at the level he wishes...if pbf can not dictate on pac re ost testing..sergy's camp can not dictate on mw level fight
