      Sorry but thats not correct.
What? I don't understand. P4P means they judges you what kind of fighters did you beat, how did you beat them and how many of them. You can't be suddenly became P4P#1 by beating 2 or 3 good fighters who are not considered a p4p fighters as well. Certainly by beating his first one good fighter Cintron didn't brought Martinez any near to be a P4P#10. Then beating Pavlik suddenly he became P4P#2? what else? and now P4P#1 after he beat Dzinziruk? You can't be possibly be the P4P#1 without being a no.3 or no. 2 first but being no. 3 or 2 by beating just 2 good fighters? It doesn't really make sense.

Hypocrite at his best. Martinez can't fight a cruiserweight but Pac who can't even weigh in more than 146 fighting Martinez who can ballloned more than 170 its no big deal to you?

I remember before the Williams-Martinez fight almost everyone had Williams as #3 P4P and Martinez #4 P4P...Martinez then goes and KO's Williams in 2 and suddenly Williams is a bum and Martinez has no top wins vs elite P4P fighters.

He also beat a Kelly Pavlik who had never lost before @ 160.

Now he KO'd an undefeated fighter who has never even been Knocked down before. Martinez was able to do that 5 times.

In the last year he's done enough to enter the discussion as top P4P fighter IMO.

I'm not saying he IS number one, but I think the noise you hear shows that he has a case for being there.

Its between him and Pac but lying about Barrera being a prime WW when he fought Pacquiao isn't helping your case.

              Light Middleweight -
Middleweight - Dzinziruk undefeated but so did Golovkin, Sbik, N'Jikam, Lemieux, etc. and being undefeated doesn't mean you are great HOF fighter specially when people ask you. Who did he beat?
Pavlik a good win but who did he beat after his loss to Hopskins?
Williams beat him before so its just kinda even right now.

So his case being P4P# 1 pointing to his two wins against Palvik and Dzinziruk. beside when did he became a p4p# 3 when he beat Palvik? then became no. 2 after he beat Williams? then finally became p4p# 1 after he beat Dzinziruk? WTF! These people hyping Martinez being a P4P# 1 they must be smoking some crack. I can't imagine they completely bypassing other fighters who worked so hard in their ranks.
I dont mind people rating Sergio as a one to look out for in the future even though hes mid 30's now in age, but to say hes above Pac or even floyd (unless he fights soon) on the basis of a very recent good run of wins is ridiculous. Pac has been doing what Sergio has done for his last 3 fights for the last 8 years.

To me he is the number 1 fighter for many reasons. First off his level of competition has been much more impressive than either Manny or Floyd. He also has beat his opponents in better fashion either way. Secondly, P4P to me is who is best at the time, not who transfers well to as many weights. Manny is in Sergios radar weight class and I wouldn't give Manny a shot against Martinez. If you're in the same area code as another fighter in weight and you aren't able to beat that guy I can't rank you higher than the guy that is clearly better. This is why I rank Martinez over Floyd or Manny.

I didn't lie. Everybody knows I made a mistake there except you. Its means you did not even know who Barrera is and what weight division he was in year 2003.

This is not even debatable Martinez is and should be #1P4P. Reasons below.

                    Ducking-
Mayweather my favorite fighter but everyone says he ducks.

Pacquaio ducks Yuri Foreman, Mosley, Berto, Soto, Guzman, Bradley and the rest of the good competition at 140. Look at his past five opponents only Marquez was a credible fight with no catch weights or guy coming off an impressive win.

Martinez has continued to take on the best competition and look good against fighters that nobody else wanted to fight. Reason he was fighter of the year last year and will be again this year. My new P4P #1.

There is not one human being on the planet who genuienly thinks Sergio is the best fighter on the planet.
