    Martinez Belongs at 168

Not only because of the possible matchups but physically he belongs at SMW even though he claims to be too small.

He has no problem calling out Pacquiao even though he's really a 135lb fighter. I'm sure there are lots of 130 lb guys who walk around at Pacquiao's weight and cut around 15lb easy.

Martinez at the 30 day weigh ins half way through camp weighs 176. He walks around in the 180's easy.

Atlantic City, NJ -- On Friday, October 22, reigning World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez and three-time world champion

Froch has says that inbetween fights he weighs in the low 170's

Ward does not have a big build and i doubt he cuts any more thaen 10lbs

Abraham is 2 inches shorter than Martinez and compared to Sergio to say that he is one dimensional is an understatement.

He's 2" taller than LHW's Johnson, Cloud, Diaconu and i honestly doubt they are that much heavier than him. Not saying he is a LHW but he easily belongs at SMW.

There is young talent and Martinez needs to fight MW's like Pirog, Golovkin, N'jikam who are deserving and i do think would be able to test him. He probably won't want to though because there isn't money in it.

If not that then move up to SMW where he can get quality fights and money because he certianly is not undersized. I don't want to see him fight MW guys like Chavez or Lee who may have a little name recognition but are 2 or 3 classes below him.

blah blah blah, he can make 160lbs.

If he can make weight at 160lbs, then he can fight there all he wants.

Hatton used to blow up to 200lbs inbetween fights. Hatton should fight at HW!!(he does, he uses the alias "Alexander Povetkin")

Guys who fight at 168 do not enter the ring at 172 on fight night. Don't be ******.

Bute for example regularly comes in on fight night at 182 but even if Sergio did he made weight and them some, he is a smallish MW.

Bute and Dirrell are the biggest SMW's, they're really LHW's. Bute enters the ring at 182 (Andrade II i believe) As i said Froch in between fights doesn't get above the mid 170's and Ward is a similar size and AA even smaller.

If Martinez weighs 176 half way through camp then yes he's a similar size to half the Super 6 guys.

Talk about taking nuthugging to another level. Explain to me how Manny is a 135 fighter? I agree with everything else except for that part.

                I don't believe that for a second.

They weighed both fighters tonight and reported the weights on the telecast. Martinez was 172 tonight. To say he is a SMW is just ******. Stop talking ******.

Well you chose the biggest SMW along with Dirrell. He's a similar size to the rest in terms of weight.

                  Froch is 6'1
Ward and Kessler about 6' and half a inch. So giving 1" 1/2 - 2 inches in height isn't much plus Martinez has a long reach although both are not as big an issue as it would be for most fighters because of Martinez's style and speed.

176 is with clothes on and probably after a meal.

This is a typical super middleweight fight.

12-15 pounds heavier than Martinez. If you're okay with that weight difference, then you should have no problem with that type of weight difference between Pac and Martinez.
