People need to slow their role. I'm a Martinez fan but let's not get carried away here. I'll leave it at this- A) name the best fighter off the top of your head on Dzinziruk's record prior to Sergio B) Tell when was the last time Dzinziruk fought at MW prior to tonight.

    Nice win for Sergio though

Sergio is not only beating very good fighters, but he dominating and doing things to them that people did not expect him to do.

Sergio is putting on better performances and beating guys in their prime unlike Pacquiao who fights old, shot, and weight drained fighters.

Floyd is inactive so he doesn't belong up there in the list right now.
Only Martinez can beat Martinez like how Marquez beat Marquez LOL.

I don't know if this opponent is what it takes to make it to #1, which is why he's so anxious to fight Manny or Floyd. But it's fine if he's #1 on your lists.

It's good to see the consensus here is that Maravilla is already the number 1 P4P, because that's the damn truth.

He should be number one right now.

Floyd is not fighting and Pacquiao is cherrypicking his opponents to make sure he wins. He hasn't fought real challenge in a long time

this. people gettin mad he surpasses manny in some peoples eyes, but truth is manny hasn't done much. i think if he stops mosley, he'll be #1 again, no doubt. just like a buncha people did with donaire and his montiel KO, now he's number 3...martinez has 3 great wins, and hopefully they keep coming..

Pacquiao is mostly living off his past victories. and his current popularity.

After a while you do have to wonder when enough is enough.

lol let's not get carried away, he beat Dzinruk who fought most of his fights in Europe and who has he beaten? He's a legit 154lber that never fought at middleweight before.
Martinez's best win is P.Williams, whom he already loss to and he refuses to move up and fight all the big names at 168.

One more win like this, or Pacquiao fighting another sham of a fight, and Martinez should move to number one. But until then, you people are just desperate to rip Pacquiao from that top spot.
Good post. If you compare their opponents, Martinez is not even close. Pavlik was overrated going into their fight. Yes, he was the champion but was no longer in his prime. The only real opposition that Martinez beat is Williams.

I am basing the hype and the possible number 1 ranking to his skill. He showcased exceptional power and speed that could give huge problems to anyone, including Pacquiao and Mayweather.
