I'll say this, if Martinez gets one more impressive win over someone worthwhile, and Pacquiao doesn't fight either Mayweather or Berto after this Mosley sham, I think Martinez should move to number one.
Are you really going to compare Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey vs. Williams X2, Pavlik, Cintron, and Dzinziruk?

Hatton was done after his fight with Floyd, Cotto was shot after the beat down Margacheato gave him, and Clottey is a B-level fighter who did not belong in the ring with Manny. Mosley is old, shot, and way past his prime.

Martinez IS #1 P4P for me.

      Floyd is inactive.

      Sergio's last 3 >>>>>> Pac's last 5

Just saying, you people are overreacting. Martinez lost three fights ago, remember? And how is the Pavlik win any better than Clottey or Hatton?

One more win like this, or Pacquiao fighting another sham of a fight, and Martinez should move to number one. But until then, you people are just desperate to rip Pacquiao from that top spot.

Typical post fight over hyping of a fighter.

Manny Pacquiao is clearly the #1 p4p guy and it's not even close.

Great performance but as long as Pac is around he will never be #1.

You guys are overrating Martinez. He was basically unknown two years ago, and now he's being regarded as #1 p4p from the results of only three fights (Pavlik, Williams, Sergiy). That's ridiculous. Pacquiao and Mayweather are still far more accomplished than Martinez.

He has a very good case.

In my personal ranking he's #2.
