Look for those who still want to lobby, that Cotto is still in good shape or an elite fighter, need to remove him the pedestal. Both Bob and Cotto know this, which is why he is no longer fighting the top competition.

He fought a nobody, in Yuri. He fighting a shot fighter in Myorga. And they plan to follow up with a Margarito rematch.

As much as it pains me, Cotto, along with Margarito, and Marquez are becoming stepping stones for younger fighters to make a name for themselves. Younger cats like say, Canelo.

He's referring to the fact that Cotto didn't annihilate the softer puncher in Foreman,

I guess Miguel Cotto was suppose to get him outta there in the first round to show that he is still a top dog which is absurd. but haters will hate.

Whether that knee gave out or not, Cotto was hunting down his prey and was gonna get him out of there one way or another.

That bum didn't come in with a knee brace, and nearly collapsed on his own in the middle of a fight.

A younger Cotto would have destroyed him in 5 rounds or less.

Quick question! Who was Cotto fighting when he was 20 years old?

Or you could look at it like this. Who has Cotto fought after 36 fights compared to Alvarez?

Seriously using a fight in which he destroyed his opponent is not exactly a good way to tear down an up and coming prospect.
I actually fully understand what you're saying. I've had similar discussions with people who said that Mayweather "almost lost" to Mosley, because he lost 1 minute of the second round.

                    It's frustrating.
