Canelo is too green and needs defense to deal with Cotto. Got Cotto by KO or TKO within 8 - 10 rounds. I think Canelo is a good prospect though.

It's because they have nothing else to criticize him on. Cotto lands a flush shot, he gets stunned for 10 seconds, and then proceeeds to ass **** cotto for the rest of the fight. Ok Hatton was a bigger stronger fighter than Cotto and Alvarez walked thru all his punches for 12 whole rounds.

So which is it? He gets hit to much? Or he doesn't have a chin? You can't have both?

Eh, there's plenty to criticize him on. But everyone continually brushes it off with things like "he's only 20.. give him some time". There's no point in trying to discuss it.

Yeah and if you are going to criticize him on his head movement, defense, footwork, and handspeed then all of them are legitimate. But regurgitating this ridiculous notion that somehow being stunned for 10 seconds cancels out all the good thing in the kid is just ******.

Seriously using a fight in which he destroyed his opponent is not exactly a good way to tear down an up and coming prospect.
