So which is it? He gets hit to much? Or he doesn't have a chin? You can't have both?
Sure you can. Hatton isn't a big puncher at all and was hitting Alvarez quit easily. I say Cotto would destroy him. Cotto's jab alone would give him problems.

Cotto has always had trouble with big punchers who go to the Body. Ricardo Torres for example and that was when Cotto was young.

And Cotto isn't exactly Willie Pep either! Defensively Cotto is pretty average and gets hit a lot too.

Stop beating it around the bush, who would win alvarez or cotto and why?

If this was pre Margarito, I would heavily favor him. But with his recent performance agianst Yuri Foreman. Yuri "feather fisted knee busted" Foreman, leaves much to be desired.

Despite Canelos flaws, he is the bigger/younger/stronger of the two.

                go to 1:20

Miguel Cotto finishes the job at this point..

Canelo knows it himself and thats why I like him as much as I do, he's humble realistic and knows he's got a lot to learn...with that said..at this point Cotto KO's Canelo..

Canelo is only 20..I don't want to see this kid rushed like Vargas.

Oh Cotto of course is the favorite to beat an unproven prospect come on now thats a no brainer. But would I be suprised if Canelo beat Cotto if they fought tomorrow? Nope! I could definatly see him beating Cotto too.

what about his recent performance against foreman? cotto won all but 1 round and ko'ed foreman via bodyshot. cotto did what he was suppose to do unlike canelo who fought a ww bum and couldn't ko him despite his huge size and weight advantage.

LOL Hatton has only been stopped once in 50 + fights it's pretty safe to say that he has a very good chin and is a very rugged fighter. You act like everyone has knocked him out or something.
