Certainly not against a guy in a smaller division then him,not making weight,certainly not with the "extra" help with belt companies, and in the "inside" connect to fight the brother of another famous boxer.so it all likelyhood saul is a made man.imagine if he lost saturday,gbp would panic like the stock market crashing.they play cards well with the kid.please don't tell me you beleive the hype?

Look for those who still want to lobby, that Cotto is still in good shape or an elite fighter, need to remove him the pedestal. Both Bob and Cotto know this, which is why he is no longer fighting the top competition.

He fought a nobody, in Yuri. He fighting a shot fighter in Myorga. And they plan to follow up with a Margarito rematch.

As much as it pains me, Cotto, along with Margarito, and Marquez are becoming stepping stones for younger fighters to make a name for themselves. Younger cats like say, Canelo.

Yuri wasn't a "nobody". People suddenly started calling him a "nobody", after Cotto beat his ass. MANY people were saying that Yuri's size, and movement would bother Cotto. That was Cotto's first fight at 154, and he fought an undefeated title holder. And Cotto was only a 2/1 favorite in that fight. Apparently you're the one who has/had him on a pedestal, if that wasn't good enough for you, for his first fight at the weight.

And I'm not sure what Marquez (or Cotto and Margarito) has done for you to label him (them) a "stepping stone". That seems a bit premature. In order to brand someone a "stepping stone for younger fighters", it seems like you'd wait until one of those younger fighters have, I don't know, beaten them.

What the WBC does and what GB does has nothing to do with Canelo. If you don't like how the WBC and GB handled things then criticize them but Canelo is not a promoter and he is not the head of the WBC.
