The President of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya, expects the mega-fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to take place. Twice the sides have negotiated and twice the negotiations fell through, but De La Hoya feels there is too much money involved for the fight not to happen. Pacquiao comes back on May 7 against Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather is dealing with a few legal issues before he resumes his boxing career.

honestly, this fight is overrated imo anyway, it will be one of mayweathers easier wins, its not gonna be the back and forth action everyone is expecting, manny may have his moments like shane, but he will get outclassed.....

Floyd cant even do the damages Pac inflicted to Oscar and Hatton. What more sending them into retirement. You add to the fact, there is no way he can say.."I beat the hell out of Cotto, Clottey and Margarito!" What a coward, in his reigning 6 years at welterweight division...he let other elite welterweights to do his dirty work while a former flyweight Pac in just 1 year plus in this division he almost clean it up! Watch how Pac sends Mosley into retirement this coming May. Then you see how Pac sends Floyd permanently in his fake retirement without fighting him. He will never win against Pac as he got no balls to do it. Seeing by himself how Pac sending their common opponents into retirement...his balls disappeared.
