I saw that fight it made me think a lot less of Cotto as a fighter, he fought a poor fight and he really isn't made of the sternest stuff if pushed constantly.

It is a good win but Cotto isn't all that either, especially if you consider the strengths and weaknesses of each guy.

I think it's quite ridiculous to say he hasn't imprived at all since 2004. He clearly has.

But I think people overrate the 'he's improved so much since 2008 in the Marqeuz fight' Yeah he looked bad at times in that fight and many thought he lost including myself. But people are forgetting it was a close fight and in spots Manny looked absolutely spectacular against Marquez. The Knockdown? My word what a beautfiul shot that was, one of the best shots I have ever seen Pacquiao do.

I don't think he's improved too much since 2008, Manny was a beast then as he is a beast now.

People also act like Manny was useless back then. He wasn't, just one sight of Manny back then told you he was something special. Are people forgetting possibly his best win was in 2003? Where he dominated a seasoned fighter in a prime Barrera?

IF you just look at the situations surrounding each fight Corrales was ranked higher than Cotto and had killed everyone he faced.

corrles was bigger than everybody else he fought at 130, 135..cotto was running thru everybody too and unlike chico he did'nt have the usual size adavantge....corrales never had a win comparable to a shane mosley ... like i said floyd never had a bettrer win than a cotto win...
