You guys really think Sulaiman wouldn't worry about non-Mexicans getting hurt? He'd have to be a really cold blooded piece of **** to be that way. I sure hope he's not. Laters!

Anyway, on topic, I hope this starts a trend for belt organizations and/or athletic commissions to reprimand refs when they do a poor job. I mean, I can name many times Joe Cortez and Laurence Cole completely blew it and they keep getting more ref gigs. Maybe a system should be set up where with each blown call (especially if it directly reflects damage to a fighter) should get a ref reprimanded. Say, first one is a warning and after that, each one results in being suspended where the third or fourth time, you get banned for life or something like that. That way, it would keep the refs from being biased (i.e. Joe Cortez) and keep them on their toes from making BS decisions. What happened to the Mills Lanes and Mitch Halperns of the world...
Awesome! Unfortunately I was born in the wrong generation whereas now we have Linkin Park and My chemical romance ffs.

Saw the fight. Sulaiman is overreacting. He must have a motive. On another note. That punch Donaire hit Montiel with was a beauty but I think the punch Martinez caught Williams with was fiercer. Props to Donaire though. I like the kid because he has skill and can box very well.

I wish people were are as quick to ban judges that have no clue what there doing. I know many fights are close and could go either way, but when a judge comes out with a ridiculous score it just burns me.

Fans would have complained that it would have been a bad stoppage if he didn't give him a second chance. There's always something wrong with a fight, nobody is ever satisfied with anything.

The ref. did a perfect job. As Roy Jones said at the end of the telecast "He's the champ, and you got to give the champ that respect."

                Correct as usual.

montiel was the champion, so u got to give the champion especially one with the heart that montiel has the respect to at least give it one more go. mora stepped in at the very next punch and saw montiel barely in defense mode and had stopped it.

GTFO he was a defending world champion and p4p rated fighter who deserved every chance to recover, if he didn't want to get up he didn't have to but like a champ he did, didn't have enough left and it was stopped.......I don't see the problem.
