Floyd will get outwork unless he also throws 1000 counter punches.
That's a truly ridiculous thing to say. It's completely irrelevant how many punches Pac throws. All that counts are the punches that land cleanly. And landing cleanly against Floyd is much easier said than done. And if Pac throws five punches, lands one, and then gets countered with a clean punch he didn't see every time he lands, he will soon stop punching so much. Toney-Jirov is a classic example of how a great defensive fighter can outwork a world class volume puncher. Toney threw far fewer punches than Jirov but most of the clean punches that landed came from Toney. Pac is a lot better than Jirov, but Floyd is much better than that version of Toney, who was past his prime. Hopkins-Calzaghe was another good example before Hopkins gassed. A prime Hopkins would have easily outworked Calzaghe (and even a very old Hopkins outworked Pascal, who threw far fewer punches than he usually does after the fourth round because he kept missing and being countered, and soon got so wary and confused by the counters that he stopped throwing).

How many punches are thrown is completely irrelevant. You don't score points by throwing, only by landing cleanly.

i think hes right, floyd knows he cant hit and move v pac,he knows he cant and wont outland pac.

he knows pac strenghts, and how they negate floyd usual success.

unless pac second guesses himslf and doesnt get off very well then i cant see floyd beating pac unless he plans to counter with hard shots that hopefully wear pac down late on for a stoppage.

i can just see pac being able to set up and land easier than anyone else has ever done to floyd before.

southpaw with pacs usefulness with both hands will be horrible for floyd to deal with, you cant prepare for exaclty how pac fights till your in the ring with him.

i can see pacs speed and timed counters catching floyd and punishing floyd.

he will jab the body and go for the right hooks and left hands after the jabs,he will turn floyd, make floyd work to hit him.

when did floyd ever have a target that was hard for him to hit???.

what slick defensive boxer that doesnt gas out has floyd faced??.

i think some of floyd atheticism has gone, some of his movment and speed has been taken away by age, inactivity and a bigger frame he know has.

i cant be sure all this plays out,and thats what makes this fight so warrented, but i think it will play out like that.

His analysis was unbelievably simplistic. If what he said was true, Pac would have won every round of both his fights with Marquez.

You see..The Pac who fought JMM twice was not the same version of Pac today. This current version of Pac will ko JMM for good if the fight happens this year. Just like what he did to Oscar and Hatton sent them into retirement while Floyd can't do the same the manner Pac how he did it. Watch Pac sends Mosley and JMM into retirement this year. This is how Pac doing to his opponents now a days. Floyd will be no different unless he stays in vacation.

Floyd's style is to use his opponents aggression against them, Pac would just fall into his traps, many guys have tried to outpunch and swarm him, it doesn't work.

Pac has the best chance of beating Floyd and thats the reason FLoyd quit fighting. If he was so easy FLoyd would have fought him months ago already without any extra testing. He knew Pac is for real. big hitter, faster than him, best combinations in boxing and has probably more stamina than anyone right now. Pac can throw 1000 punches and doesnt gasssed out. FLoyd is not confident beating Pac thats why the fight hasnt happen yet. If he was just as confident as those *****s.
