He will get a few clean shots but iit wont be to many combos landed. Size will play a part. It wont be a war. Floyd doesnt allow fighters to draw him into wars. Thats right allow. He will dictate pace the whole fight with that jab that he pulls out every few years. He wont have to follow Pac like the rest tried to do. Pac will come to him which is half the battle for Floyd. Mayweather will fight tall instead of leaning to him like Oscar, Miguel, and Antonio.Anyone who is still trying to convince himself that Pac won't be able to hit Floyd cleanly is in denial. I've watched certain parts of Pacquiao fights in slow motion and his movement and punch placement is the best I have ever seen (i.e., when he is kind of jumping to the side and punching at the same time while slipping a punch being thrown at him).
Mayweather is not in the mood for gritty wars where the other guy is going to press him al night anymore and he hasn't been for some time now. Mayweather can't counter every punch in a 7 punch combination and he can't block everything.
He was better than floyd Sr.Last edited by studentofthegam; 02-26-2011, 08:36 PM.Comment

I respect someone picking Pacquiao to win but this reasoning is dumb for a boxing analyst like Bernstein to say...
Pavlik throws a lotta punches...what happened against Bernard Hopkins?
Nothing a little lateral movement can't solve...Comment
