That's why I voted yes. There are too many to count. I always believed its hard for SOME fighters who've been trained their entire lives to be aggressive and to hit to just turn it "off" outside the ring. So I always felt that's part of the reason why boxers have so many incidents like this.

It's too bad there aren't more Robert Guerrero's, the bernard hopkins and glen johnsons of the world and honestly I'm sure there are plenty but it's rare we as fans hear about the dedicated and loyal husbands very often.
I wish that it wasn't the case, but this is a nasty business that doesn't really attract the enlightened sort. It is a real big problem when you include mind altering substances which remove whatever normal inhibitions they normally would have, then being conditioned to get physical if a woman is acting crazy (and we all know women know how to push their dudes buttons) it is bound to happen.

It sucks to have to justify it in this manner but if you are going to be a fan of the sport you pretty much have to accept it or that is dictating who you like as opposed to who you find appealing in the ring.

She isn't that good looking, and has the figure of a boy.

      That would suck though

You weren't kidding, this had me laughing,

"The best way to show respect for Herkleman and her accomplishments would have been to compete against her"

I think I would have been more worried about touching her the wrong way O.o

I support them to the extent of having a man who not only beat but murdered a woman as my Avi.

I focus on what they do inside the ring.

                Thats not what i asked.
But yea, people sometimes lie. Women, men, doesnt matter. U needed a 15 year old lie to realise sometimes people lie?

I don't respect boxers as men, i can't really respect someone as a man whom i've never met or shared words with, they can be huge pieces of **** as a human being as far as i know. I can only judge based on their craft, if their great boxer then their great boxers.

I feel the same way about Kool G Raps. Different craft, same situation. I just respect the skill.

ummm what about men who are killing their wives in boxing? And I'm not saying it's right but I'm only focused on what they do in the ring and not their personal life
