getting a draw in the guys home country should tell you how well he did.

bradley got knocked down twice against holt, klitschko twice against peter, both clearly won, it happens.

pascal got suckered into that fight...

no one should fight hopkins unless they are 100% sure they will stop him.

ok, he could'nt beat pascal, i guess he deserves credit and should be considered the greatest fighter of this era, **** outta here

froch beat the sht outta pascal before he started running around like a ponce and taking rounds 3-9 off

the only rounds hopkins won, were the rounds pascal ALWAYS takes off, look at his other fights at lightheavy, good on hop for actually attacking tho, still didn't win, dunno why a draw is such a big achievement against such a mediocre fighter

is pascal better than jones' and pac's opponents?

Yeah I do, you were saying how Hopkins failed to beat Pascal aka Frochy's leftovers.

i dunno I thought he won the fight. still proves my point though, he's never had a close fight go his way. A couple D's and three L's. No W's.

What the point of this thread is, is an argument for Joe Calzaghe's fight with Bernard Hopkins.

Joe Calzaghe deserves credit for beating Bernard Hopkins, although over 40 years old, he was still a top 5 LHW, and considered in the Top 10 P4P by The Ring. He also proved after that fight he isn't shot, or close to it.

So he gets credit for that fight, well, from me atleast.

However the orginial and actual argument was, Roy Jones Jr on the other hand, which is the exact opposite. A fight in which Joe Calzaghe deserves no credit for.
