Oh is that so? Absolutely nothing to do with Joe? No?
Then would you care to explain why this was your response to someone who discrediting Calzaghe's Hopkins win in your 'I miss Calzaghe' thread ;
"hopkins is still fighting and probally should be the linear champ at 175..so why are yall discrediting joe????so whats the point of anyone fighting hopkins??if he wins oh hes great..if he loses oh he was old"
It's abundentely clear the basis of this thead is about the fact people discredit Joe's win.
I mean come on, it's not rocket science.Comment

Hopkins 20 + title defenses.
Tito-undefeated middleweight champ (favored)
Oscar-better than the 1 Pacman beat
Tarver-Light heavy weight champ of the world,(favored)
Winky Wright
Kelly Pavlik undefeated middleweight champion (favored)
Jones,not much credit there,but worth mentioning since U really put Oscars name up there & Margarito's,lol!!
Fought to a draw against the 175 #1ranked champion at age 45
what do you think is more of a challenge, fighter a smaller guy coming up in weight for the first time, or going up in weight and fighting a bigger guy at his proper weight?Comment

bhop does let himself get in close fights too much.but he did beat pascal,and atleast drew calzaghe.
i worry that bhop wont win but wont get robbed,that pascal will just be smart and push the pressure on and fight how he should have in the first match.Comment

yea your right, barely beating winky wright at 175 is way better than a ruiz win, for instance
or beating a 36 year old tarver at 175 coming down from heavyweight is better than beating a 34 year old tarver when your coming down from heavyweight, yepComment

Hopkins just proved he is still the best LHW which speaks to how poor and void and real talent the division is at this stage.Comment
