Martinez hasn't moved down from your #1 spot right? At the end of the day.. that's all that should matter. Everyone has different opinions on who they feel should be #1.
    I agree,I guess that settles it!!/tread.

I am blaming team Pacman for who he fights. The Punisher constantly said he could make 147 to fight the best there. That's where the big money fights are between Floyd & Pacman.Team Pacman chose 3 fighters they know can't beat Pacman.
Again, you say they chose three fighters they know can't beat Pacquiao when NO ONE except Mayweather in Pacquiao's weight range can beat Pacquiao. Berto isn't any better than Cotto or Clottey, and may not be any better than Mosley is right now. Stop bringing up Paul Williams until he fights at welterweight again. It's been years, and its one thing to say he can make it, it's another thing to actually fight at the weight considering he hasn't lately.

You also bring up the myth that Pacquiao avoided Mosley back in 2009, which isn't true at all. Pacquiao had a fight with Cotto pretty much done when Mosley started saying he wanted to fight Pacquiao.

Well,it's official I guess.Martinez lost his spot without losing.Forget the fact that he beat Cintron twice in 1 fight, fought a candidate for fight of the year against the Punisher in their 1st fight. Was cherrypicked by team Pavlik(the lineal middleweight champion)my guess is because he fought so evenly against the Punisher.Beat Pavlik with the coldest 4 piece I've ever seen, beheaded the Punisher in the rematch & is now fighting the undefeated jr middleweight champ Dzinziruk. On the the 1st page a guy said U can't lose ur spot without being beaten.LOL!!

All this while Floyd beat Marquez at welterweight,(without bothering to make weight).Beat Mosley then semiretired. Then Pacman beat Cotto at a catchweight,(why)??Then a stablemate in Clottey, then Margarito(for the title formally held by Martinez & is now fighting an old Mosley who was thoroughly beaten by Floyd & drawed with a guy that lost to Vera on FNF's.But the majority of bs is ok with that,/rant.

But U don't use an entire resume to compare pfp 1 bit.3 fights are entirely enough fights to base the highest ranked. Why should 1 fighter still hold claim to the #1 spot when all he's doing is beaten big named, shot old fighters??
a number of people already dismiss titles because they don't like the way many fighters obtain them, and the same could be said of division ranks since not all divisions have a deep pool of talent, such as the heavyweight division.

whether you use the entire resume, the last three fights, the last 4 fights, etc., to determine your own P4P listing, its entirely subjective. Ring commentators, veteran boxing analysts, and even the boxing champions themselves have their own list of P4P and its very likely that their lists are not the same.

you simply have to accept the fact that a number of folks see things differently from you (the RING Magazine for example) and take heart of the fact that there are others who agree with you.
