    of course

If you become a citizen of another country(lets say France), then you are French. theres no way you can ignore it.

If you still want to bring your American heritage with you or have dual citizenship, then you can be called a...uh...American French?

There is no problem calling him a Filipino-American imo.
how do you know that all he knows is american culture?

he came to america as a teenager. it's not like he came here when he was a baby.

the guy speaks TWO filipino languages fluently. you know you can be raised in a different culture than where you live right?

don't get **** twisted just because the guy listens to hip hop.

That's not the case at all. It has nothing to do with Donaire being a Fil-Am and hasmore to do with Pacquiao being THE Filipino boxing superstar. Pacquiao's shadow was too big for Donaire to get out of and that's why he doesn't get a lot of support.

Well, they said he moved here when he was 10. I'm sure his parents like most asian families that come to the states kept stuff very tight and spoke the language inside the home but lets be honest, outside of the home I'm sure he grew up Americanized. He went through American school system, probably most his friends are Americans, and he probably did American things. I didn't know he liked hip hop tbh and I can't be sure how he was raised but I assume he was raised up in the house to speak the native language, eat the native foods, enjoy the native culture but outside of the home he probably enjoyed American culture. To me that sounds like he is influenced by both. I consider him Filipino first because of where he was born and what he likes to rep but I consider him American as well.

Nah, it's really with the type of opponents pac and donaire face. Naturally Pac would look "more" famous because he fights with more known opponents whereas Nonito faces some so-so from whatever land with this one, Donaire is already ahead in my scratch paper
