But, that was from people who didn't really know about the weight-class. They were not the 2 best in the weight-class. They were 2 of the best. That weight-class is deep. And, Moreno along with Agbeko could be considered 2 of the best at that weight-class.

That is why people are praising Nonito so much. It's because he defeated the lineal champion.
        Not true at all.

I think if you've seen enough Donaire fights it's hard not to recognize he's a special fighter. I thought he outclassed Vic with boxing skill along with knocking him the hell out. I hadnt seen a lot of Montiel, but he was being outboxed in some of the fights he won when I watched. So Im not in awe of the performance, but it was still pretty damn impressive considering how tough Montiel is.

One thing I will say Donaire still has more to prove at Bantam because Mares and Agbeko are very good too. They could actually be more dangerous than Montiel was.

100% right. They also forget Montiel was on the pound for pound list. I don't think i have ever seen a pound for pound fighter get dramatically blown out like that.

The only ones overrating are the usual new "Fans", If you know anything about Nonito you would know what he is capable of, His problem has been the competition for him and he seem to be getting them finally.

When did Hasegawa become Lineal Champion?

Rafael Marquez was considered the #1 at Bantamweight until 2006 until he moved up to fight Vasquez.

Hasegawa was considered the #2 in 2005 when he beat Sahaprom.

In 2006 when Marquez left the division, Hasegawa went to #1 by default. And although Sahaprom was considered #2 at this time and Hasegawa had already beat him twice, that doesn't make him Lineal Champion.

What Hasegawa was considered as when Montiel beat him was the #1 ranked fighter in the division, thus when Montiel beat him he was considered the #1 ranked fighter at Bantamweight. Although many felt it was open for debate.

But the fact is, Donaire beat the guy was was ranked #1 at Bantamweight, and destroyed him. He deserves the praise he is getting.

So because Donaire is sooo damm good that he destroyed a great 2nd best in the weight class he shouldnt get credit? Just because hes suppose to win. I guess him being rangy and tall means he should be fighting at a higher weight class? O wait ur boyfriend Paul williams is doing the same thing, except he cant even handle the lower weight class.

                  I dont understand people sometimes.

If a win over a great p4p champion like Montiel who has been winning devastatingly lately is not something to be amazed at then I don't know what's a great win anymore. Is a win over Mayweather and Pacquiao the only legitimate win nowadays?
