that filipino or filipino-american bull**** is meaningless though.

it's not as bad as how mexicans seem to feel about mexican-americans.

filipinos won't hold anything against donaire because of where he grew up.

he's of filipino descent and he was born in philippines. where he grew up doesn't mean much
    .
    exactly!

this is what non-pinoys don't get.

    well, except me of course.

But how is Donaire bad for boxing? I have no problem with fighters who gets nutthuggers or ethnic pride casual fans as long as they fight legitimate, serious opponents who does not duck anyone like Donaire, Froch, or JMMarquez for example. Their fans might be annoying but I think boxing really needs as much fans as it could get right now. But the fighters who gets millions of worshippers who makes big money but fights laughable opponents like Juanma, Pacquiao, or Chavez Jr., those are the ones that should get ****ted on.

when pac is 85, donaire will be 80.

        they're basically the same age.
does that make sense to you?

donaire is in his 20's , manny is in his 30's.

manny started fighting in the 90's , donaire started in 2000's.

manny has 2 times as many fights.

yet that dumbass says they're practically the same age and fought almost as long.

        people are stuuuuuuuuuupid.

they think it's like how mexican boxing fans are with mexican-americans fighters.

Nonito is one of the last slick african-american boxers out there. Enjoy him while you can.

man , even if he was only half pinoy or if he was born in america to filipino parents , pinoys would still support him.

pinoys are pinoys. no matter where you grew up.

just make sure you know how to speak a little tagalog.

well, he was obviously trying to make his argument stick and ended up saying something utterly ******.

he also started boxing 6-7 years before nonita and has double the fights.

not to mention pac started fighting better and harder competition years before nonita.

4-5 years is half most boxer's careers , you tit.
