they'll slowly transition into the Nonitards.

nah... *****s and pinoy-haters will like nonito cause he has street cred (doesn't get along with his dad, speaks english, and his ring entrance music is hip hop).

i give up...u guys are so lost trying to defend a fighter as being pinoy that u dont understand the thing im trying to say. even pullcounter got the difference between the two. yes, donaire is pinoy and yes hes proud of those roots but that does not mean amricans will look at him and say hes foreign.

he isnt. he looks like us, he talks like us etc. he will be more accepted by all sides. the battlelines wont be the same.

                  bro chill out.

this thread is simply about *******s 'staying' in the game longer than a lot of haters expected because another great pinoy fighter is carrying the torch when pac retires.

                  that's it.

pac is turning 33 this year.

                    in sports/athletics there's a big difference between 28 and 33.

                    you're the idiot.

just because he's already fighting now doesn't mean he's not after pacquiao.

Not all Pinoys support Nonito, even after this victory. For many, it's not just about being a champion, but being a champion one can be proud of even outside the ring. Unless he can resolve his family differences, the negative perception about him and his wife will always hinder many Pinoys' acceptance of him. Granted, he will be popular, but not to the same extent as Pac.
