yes...and hes been in america since he was wat 10??? its really not the same thing. he learned to box here, made his name here, and for the most part, many of the ppl around him are american. pinoys dont even like him...or at least they didnt.

my point is not that pinoys cant claim him, the point is hes easily accessible to both sides.

I don't thinks so man. Donaire and Pacquiao don't get along. Plus I know some Pacfans who hate Donaire because he said JMM beat Pacquiao.

if you ask him what he is i bet ya he tells you he's pinoy.

              that's the bottom line.

it's not about not what kind of ppl are around you.

lol...once again, ill say it. thats not at all my point. did u make this thread to talk about what his nationality is or wat his roots is?? no, u compared him to manny in fanbase. thats wat im talking about?? how are u getting confused in ur own thread.

donaire and pac may have elemnts of the same fanbase, but their fanbases are gonna be different. donaire, imo is much much more accesible to american fight fans. sheesh. u ppl need to learn to read.

you're hinging this on the fact that pinoys like pac only because of who he is as a person.

i think first and foremost pinoys followed him because he was a pinoy.

                  everything else just developed afterwards.

donaire is pinoy so it's an easy transition.

you missed the purpose of this thread entirely then.

i made this thread for ppl like lostranger(scroll up).

for those who claimed that pinoys are gone after pac retires because they have no one else.

and i say donaire is their next guy so they're staying longer than haters care to accept.

                    he's pinoy so it's understandable.

I agree as a Fil-Am I think Donaire can appeal to both Pinoys and Americans.
