- Big bro asked small bro to avenge his loss against Byrd.
- Corrie Sanders dropped the belt to not face Wlad a second time. He decided to fight (belt-less) against Vitali Klitschko (also belt-less). Therefore Wlad (belt-less) had to face Brewster (belt-less) instead of Sanders. Corrie simply wanted to be the guy who beat both brothers.
- That Lennox (2 losses) had 1 loss less than Wlad (3 losses) is due to Lennox fighting only 39 different real heavyweight opponents whereas Wlad fought 53 different opponents.
- Unavenged losses of heavyweight world champions are the rule not the exception. Having only 2 unavenged losses is a hallmark attribute of the Klitschkos. Of the 78 world heavyweight champions to date the AVERAGE is 7.3 losses and 5.5 unavenged losses.
- Of the 78 heavyweight champions to date there is only 1 champ with as many real heavyweight fights (200 lbs) as Wlad Klitschko and LESS losses: Brian Nielsen. BRIAN NIELSEN! That's how far you have to dig to find someone with less unavenged losses.
- Evan Fields has 6 unavenged losses, Ezzard Charles 15, Foreman 5, Walcott 9, Larry Holmes 5, Tyson 5, Ali 2 etc etc.

what a joke some so called boxing fans are on this thread
unless you are a ****** surely you must know 9 weeks is not enough to rest, promote and train for a big fight. its simple as that, wlad is ducking haye, he called haye out and then *****ed out to fight chisora instead

right now, I can care less what haye has to say. the only time I'll care is when he announces that he will fight a Klit-bro

And supposed journalists just let Haye get away with statements like this instead of asking, "Then why did you fight Audley Harrison when you planned on retiring in a year and only had 2-3 fights left?"
Also, Haye says he has a feud with Wlad but it is Vitali who choked him in a German restaurant. He obviously wants nothing to do with Vitali and it trying to cover that fact up.
Is that the first in a long line of interviews where Haye hasn't bought up his retirement?

He is most probably going to fight Povetkin next and there will still be those fickle minded fans out there who will still criticise. Nobody has questioned Wladimir for taking on the Chisora fight to then pulling out 2 days before the fight night and then completely bypass any interest from the Haye camp and then continue with the Chisora fight.
Plus I did not know you were so gulable into believing nonsense stories like Haye getting choked in a restaurant.

"Wladimir in the Summer and Vitali in September, in an ideal world,
In the realistic world, I will fight my mandatory challenger and then fight in September, hopefully against Wladimir"
Anyway, regardless of that he's blatantly admitted he wants to fight one of them in September, there's two Klts, one is booked up for Adamek, which leaves one free, this is it, no ducking now.Last edited by Slick_Rick; 02-18-2011, 12:04 PM.

I still, have absolutely no idea what's going on here.
The pity is, I no longer care enough to search out and watch that 1 hour interview that SP1 mentioned earlier.

9 weeks is a short time period, but there is nothing stopping it from being done.
This fight hardly needs intense promotion, it has been promoting itself for 2 years now and everyone who would want to see it already knows about it.
Klitschko is gonna beat Chisora without breaking a sweat and if he says he is willing to go right back into training 2 weeks later for the Haye fight then what reason is there not to believe him?

I for one don't think wlad is duckig haye or vice versa the problem here is sauerland.. wlad has stated many times that haye should fight his manditory and not give sauerland a cut in his biggest payday. wlad shouldn't worry about who haye cuts his 50% with thats non of his business, but what is wlads business is k2 promotions who's main rival is sauerland wlad simply doesn't want sauerland to profit from a klitschko bout and from a business point of view that makes great sense and what makes even bigger sense is for wlad to take on chisora forcing haye to make a manditory cutting sauerland completely out of the picture not to mention the rtl television deal that expires also allowing the brothers to either strike a new deal with rtl or a rival to maximise there revenue from a haye fight . the writings on the wall i fully expect haye vs wlad in september or october ..
