    So, let's summarize.....

    Above 147.....
    Manny fought faded no-wraps cheato at catch-weight, Floyd fought Hoya at 154 when he was champ, no comparison there.

    At 147.....
    Clottey, who wouldn't fight back for some reason, and Cotto at 145..... is not as good as Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, Mosley, Hatton, and Marquez at 147.

    Don't duck me son, man up.
    I have made several reply to **** on that post, and then you keep recycling to restart the argument again.. Typical of a *****..

    Here:::

    Mosley, Marg, Cotto and Clottey are greater than Baldomir,Judah,Mitchell anytime of the day..You kiddin me.. Mitchell is damn tuneup for Floyd, and Judah and Baldomir are not exactly the same level as Cotto, Clottey, and Marg. Not even close..

    Cotto was 146 when he fought Clottey, that 1 lb was not the difference on why Pac won that fight, not to mention that that fight had Pac only slightly favor to win, which means it was a 50/50 fight. And this was done in a period of just 2 years, in his last 4 fights. Meaning he took them all successively. Not to mention before those 4 fights (Cotto, Clottey, Marg, Mosley), he was not yet a legitimate WW.. So yeah.. keep reaching...

    Here some more::

    First off, Pac fought Cotto and Marg at a catchweight of 145 and 150 respectively.. So based on this you already formulated that it wasnt a great win for Pac?? Forgetting that Cotto came in at 146 in his last weigh in, and Marg is a career WW.. Then you say that Oscar was a better win when we both know that Oscar has not been significant since Hopkins and his first retirement.

    Second, you said that Mitchell, and JMM were better fighters than Clottey, when none of them fought any top level competition at 147 before they fought Floyd...At least Clottey has been in there with the likes of Cotto and Marg, and was competitive in both fights. I may somewhat agree with you with Judah and Baldomir, but they aint no Cotto and Margarito.

    Third, its true that Clottey was 147, and both Marg and Cotto were fought in the catchweight but then this facts are all trivial anyway. What makes it ****** is that you are already formulating an opinion just purely based on this, and then presenting it as a fact as if its an end all of all discussion that cannot be refuted..

      He walked away from that fight because he did not get his 24-day cutoff.

      Who cares what " promises " he made through the media once he knew that the fight was canned and that Mayweather was not fighting again in 2010?

      I don't believe Manny's "promises", because he stated in this article that he does not pick his opponents, and we all know that's a lie.

      He had his chance, and he failed to front up.
      You can read the link below why the fight didn't happen
      How come you have different version?

Showed that Manny could hang, so wht happened with Cotto? Wasn't enough that Miguel struggled and had one eye at 147 in the Clottey fight BUT then Manny is going to goon Cotto to defend his title (Who was the champion mind you) at 145?
        Why the hell do I care about the negotiation part of the fight? If it was agreed that it needs to be at 145 then so be it! Cotto didn't think it was an advantage for Pac.....he knew he was stronger and it was enough he thought. That's why Manny didn't want the psychological advantage Floyd is demanding against him. Pac thinks it's Floyd's advantage, so he refuses. It Cotto thought so too....don't you think he would have refused the 145 limit?

          Before the fight, he was adamant and certain that Cotto would annihilate Pac even at 145.. But when Pac dominated Cotto, all the excuses started coming in

            No I wasn't adament. I picked Pac first and then Cotto because I am not too confident with both as fighters. I just picked Cotto because of his power but he lost and you know what? After I gave Pac his props. When was the last time you gave any other fighter props except Pacquiao? If Pac would have fought and beat Cotto at 147 instead of 145, it would have been a better win and to deny that just shows how much you are into the sport. Which is very lil.

              Didnt you see how I gave Mayweather credit when he beat Mosley in my numerous post before this...

              Now you are sayin' that you were not confident with Cotto.. But Cotto beat Mosley whom you regarded highly...

              You didnt give Pac his props otherwise you wouldnt come up with all these excuses especially on the weight which was a non-factor in that fight..

                Cotto didn't want to defend his title at 145 but he was forced by Pac nd WBO to put his title up at a catch weight.

                Cotto’s lawyer, Gabriel Penagaricano Jr., has informed both Arum and WBO bossman Paco Valcarcel that Cotto has no desire to risk his belt against Pacman.

                  Cotto was asking for more money to defend the belt at 145. The belt was a ****ing joke but the fight is not. In any case, who gives a **** about any alphabet titles anyway.. Plus Cotto made weight at 145 easily and was not a factor in the fight..

                    Cotto squeeked by Shane Mosley at 147. You must be new on here because I always gave Pac his props after he proved me wrong and anyone on here who knows me from posting for a while, knows this. I even dedicated a sig to him after....

                    I'm a boxing fan first and man enough to admit when I am wrong.
                    There's no shame in it. You should try it sometime.
