It didn't say nothing about Manny agreeing to 7 days or anything regarding the OST's in that article. Of course the fans want it but does Manny? Bob Arum keeps saying Floyd is their number one priority but he is always setting up fights for Pac in his Top Rank stable.

lack of foreknowledge is not the same as random.

FACT: The fight fell through because Manny would not submit to random blood testing without a 24-day cutoff.....
The biggest fight in boxing is now on the table. Manny Pacquiao dominated Joshua Clottey over twelve rounds at Cowboys Stadium in March. Floyd Mayweather Jr. do
FACT: Manny has not agreed to a 7-day cutoff during an official negotiation, exactly the opposite in fact, he has never agreed to anything less than a 24-day cutoff during an official negotiation. Manny waited until he knew that Mayweather would not be fighting again, and then he "promised" to accept a 7 day cutoff, in a unofficial non-binding statement to the press

Are you living in the real world? Why did pac come out AFTER the negotiations and say he was willing to do 14 days? Why didnt he agree to it when it was on the table? Pac is a joke, as are you.Comment

Problem is Floyd Jr has brittle hands. The only official knockdown against him is when he hit Carlos Hernandez in the sixth round and he his hand was in so much pain it touched the canvas. Hitting a guy who can take big shots who won't stop coming and throwing is dangerous for a guy with brittle hands. The only guy I have ever seen continue to throw punches even with a broken hand was Arturo Gatti, a true warrior of the game. And Floyd would absolutely have no chance of beating him with one hand...
Good points, as always Slugger ... and Arturo Gatti (R.I.P) was a true warrior and a one of a kind, for sure.
It's easy to say that someone is "on" something, in order to explain away one's own insecurity. Captain insecurity can't for the life of him, fathom how he isn't the toast of the sporting world. Why he's on the outside looking in, and here you have a foreigner who is on every talk show, magazine cover, a feature story who has become a crossover superstar where he could not. He has one person to blame...HIMSELF. Going on 6 years now and he has avoided every tough match-up whether perceived or realistic, and it's been to his detriment. If he fought Pac tomorrow and it was a great fight, even if he lost, he will have elevated himself in the public's eyes, much in the same way that Holyfield was able to do in his first fight with Bowe. But captain insecurity would much rather pull the race card, label another fighter as a cheat than to see the truth in himself. That his life revolves around having never lost a fight, and if he lost it, he would be questioning himself for the rest of his life. Insecurity is a b*tch.Comment

I just have one question. Anyone know where Floyd is?
He gets on ESPN and dodges questions about taking the fight. He opts for a "vacation" knowing that at some point he'll be forced into fighting someone with a pulse, so he decides "take more time off". Seems to me since 2005 he's become a master at the art of dodging.
Pacquiao and Mayweather had agreed to unlimited random urine testing, but Mayweather also insisted on random blood testing, even though the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which would oversee the bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, requires only urine testing.
Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want blood testing but later relented and agreed to three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week, one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would be subject to the same testing procedures.
When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.
But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed, the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.Comment

I really don't see why people are struggling to understand this, Bob Arum/Top Rank and Pacquiao included. The man was told point blank that his fan(s) wants him to fight Pacquiao, his immediate response was 'I'm taking a coupld of years off'.
He's on record saying that he's not thinking about boxing, on vacation, and taking a couple of years off.
Why do we need 500-response threads debating pointlessly when one of the principals is saying he doesn't want to fight and is taking an extended vacation? Claims he didn't even bother trying to negotiate and make a fight happen last summer.
Again, the man was told POINT BLACK 'He [Your fan] wants you to fight Pacquiao' and he responded 'I'm taking a couple of years off', didn't even entertain the idea. I cannot stress this enough.
But no, don't mind me... fritter away more time pointlessly rehashing the same bull**** from 2009Comment

the whole floyd extra testing is garbage.....why cant he just be satisfied with the commsion testing as he was in his 40 fights....and like evreyone else.....why the change of his original demand?......becuase he's tryin the fight to be harder and harder to make ....b1tchmove...
That's what people do when they have nothing to hide. They show and prove.
Pac is all talk. Don't know if he is using or not but the talk about it far exceeds this website because at the end of the day. Not taking it, is a bad look.Comment

This thread is a joke.
Manny killed the fight because he would not submit to random blood testing without a 24-day cutoff.....
The biggest fight in boxing is now on the table. Manny Pacquiao dominated Joshua Clottey over twelve rounds at Cowboys Stadium in March. Floyd Mayweather Jr. do
Then, after fighting Josh " the punching bag " Clottey, and then that bum cheato, Manny faces public condemnation for his next choice of opponent.
In the article that spawned this very thread, Manny stated that "it's not my fault, I don't pick my opponents".
Well, that was a total fkn lie according to Team Pacquiao.....
Top Rank CEO Bob Arum makes it clear that a fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley is not a done deal, at least not yet. Mosley is among the three candid
So what does Manny do?
Oh yes, he addresses the issue by stating that "I will fight Mayweather, because the fan's want it"
Sure you will Manny, just sit down over there and we'll get the WADA testing documentation signed. Manny, Manny..... ****, where'd that guy go?
A total fkn joke.
Aside from the 147 demand for Marquez, and the possible PED advantage, I wonder what other advantages Manny will require before he agree's to fight JMM again?Comment
