All of this talk about Wlad "ducking" Haye only has meaning because of Haye's ridiculous retirement deadline.

Who is making Haye retire? Why does he have to retire this year?

Answer: He doesn't have to. He wants to because he's found he doesn't like getting hit by the big boys.

hes filled his year with chisora,a 14 fight novice with no style that beats him.and adamek,a former light heavyweight,with no real KO power and can not take a good heavyweights punch,he got caught and wobbled by arreola for god sakes!.

this whole front of wlad fighting 2,even 3 times in a year and so close together is laughable,the evidence is their,it cant be denied,wlad is a 2 fight a year boxer,he only fought 3 fights a year like twice in the past few years.

yeah I agree with you, that some boxers should retire on time.

he did become the best cruiser,he didnt get ALL the belts,but the main 3 is good enough,he couldnt make weight so he moved up.

his heavyweight reigns not been amazing,but not as bad as its been made out.

i am a fan of haye,but i do admit,his retirement thing is to soon,a ****** old promise to himself.

i doubt he would go on till bhop age tbh.

Now, boxers fight beyond their prime because they have not prepared themselves for retirement.It doesn't necessarily mean they haven't prepared themselves financially.

Humans are people of habit, which means, if you have smoked for 20 years, it will be difficult to break the habit. More so, if you have trained and boxed for 20 years, Boxers cannot adjust to normality, just as soldiers and they need to prepare mentally?
