All of this talk about Wlad "ducking" Haye only has meaning because of Haye's ridiculous retirement deadline.

Who is making Haye retire? Why does he have to retire this year?

Answer: He doesn't have to. He wants to because he's found he doesn't like getting hit by the big boys.

This is a guy who said Monte Barrett's jab felt like a right cross from a cruiserweight.

The Klitschkos are simply forcing Haye into a corner, using his retirement promise against him.

Ha ha ha so your telling me that in a 11 month period that Wlad can't negotiate a time in that period that in his own trainers words is the 'only fight' in the heavyweight divsion, and its not a duck...your being biased plain and simple. You are not looking at this from a neutral point of view. It is the by far the biggest fight in the division, it is the most lucrative. If in an 11 month period wlad backs out of negotiations and fights derek chisora, followed by a fight with adamek, regardless of whether Haye retired or not that is a ducking! You will find some other excuse because clearly you don't like David Haye and that blinds your ability to be neutral.

So I'm biased and you aren't huh?

What about the two years prior to your "11 month period" where Haye pulled out of one signed fight and left the contracts to fight Vitali sitting on the table?

The fact remains: this is only a problem for Haye because he has put himself in a corner with his retirement vow. It severely restricts his ability to negotiate.

If you can't see that, there's no point talking to you.

I am not biased because I don't dislike the klitchko's on the contrary I like them. You can look through my post history. I use to defend the Wlad from american fans who called him a bum, and this and that. I think he is a great heavyweight, and I think Vitali is even better. We are not talking about what happened in the past...I already answered this in this thread if your too lazy and naive not to look through the post history before you answer just one post then there is no point talking to you either.

You have just repeated yourself to which I already answered. The retirement plans should be a non-issue when you have basically a year to get the fight done. You still have have over 6 months after Chisora to get it done. If it doesn't happen then Wlad would have ducked Haye...plain and simple.

Haye's insistence on an artificial retirement "deadline" that only exists in his mind was one of the dumbest moves I've seen by a top fighter.

Why announce such a thing ahead of time and let the opposition know what your plans are?

The Klitschkos are fed up with Haye because of their past dealings with him, and they don't trust him.

Now, they've got him where they want him. He's given the world the date on which he will quit, so if he wants a mega-fight to retire on, he's now negotiating from a position of weakness, because time is not on his side.

The Klitschkos will put him though the ringer before he gets a deal, and see it as payback.

Like I said, very ****** move by David Haye.

They are fed up with him, but yet this is the first time in any contract that they have offered him 50/50 with no options. (Even though it is a fact that he brings more money to the table). Whether he is a position of weakness or not, if they both win their fights in April and May and then wlad doesn't come to the table, it will be a duck for the 2nd time. Regardless of the retirement plans. When you have a fight which your own trainer describes as the 'only fight in the heavyweight division' you make that your priority. I can understand if Wlad didn't want to fight Haye on such a long lay-off he should have just admitted it. But for september or october there is no excuse. If you put the retirement plans to one side...why wouldn't Haye be next? What possible reason.

There is no good reason, if you want to turn the tables why not fight Adamek after, which is a less meaningful, less lucrative fight.

You're an idiot. Wlad and Vitali being brothers excuses them from ever having to fight each other. It doesn't mean that Wlad doesn't have to beat Vitali to be considered "undisputed" though.

                    God damn you're dumb.

David Haye is lying about retiring in October. He'll continue to milk his paper title fighting old has-beens.

But eventually he's going to lose to one of the old fighters he chooses as his opponents.

It happened before with age 40 Carl Thompson, and it will happen again.
