Anyone need any proof of Robinson being the GOAT, watch those fights. That's him when he's borderline shot. He's ancient in there against a ridiculously tough challenger and still splits...good God he was amazing. I think his right uppercut might be the most effective p4p weapon I've ever seen with the accuracy, speed and power that he throws it with.
Would Jack Dempsey beat Wladimir Klitschko?

it was a sad division, people just forget. John Ruiz was the third best in the division at the time when Toney beat him, Wladimir had been knocked out twice, and Vitali had just retired.
Then Toney went on to be robbed against Sam Peter, so yes, sadly he was a legitimate #3 in the division.Comment

Toney beat Peter better than Wlad did 50 pounds out of his natural division with a spare tire around his waist.Comment

NC or not, Toney beat Ruiz, which is why he ended up highly ranked. regardless, even if it was a NC Toney would have stayed right where he was at, which was at about #4. after Vitali went into retirement, he would have been moved up to #3.
Toney had beaten Holyfield, the #4, and ended up as #5. Roy Jones, Vitali, Sanders, and Byrd were above him. Jones went back down to 175, and Snaders got knocked out. that moved up Toney to the #4 position. Vitali retired, Toney moves up again. its legitimateComment
