Yup, I miss those 15 round fights. Sometimes those 12 rounders (feel like they) go by too fast.

Could you imagine some of today's fights going 15 rounds? It could have changed several outcomes.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only fan that's not selfish

12 rounds are enough for the fighters

12 is definitely enough for the fans cause I dont feel like watching a 15 round boxing match

imagine PAC-JMM 1 after the draw announcement? the crowd would know that 3 more rounds were coming...it would be electric
I don't like that. So much rhythm would be taken away. When you basically think that the fight is over and then all of a sudden, no. It makes the match completely different then.

Keep the rounds at 12, we are talking about fighter's lives here.

Alot of you guys are saying, whats 3 rounds? if you accumilate that over a boxers career, that is alot of rounds.

There is science that has shown a correlation between rounds fought and brain damage.

this thread is from a fan's perspective and what we'd consider entertaining. If you're so bitter about boxing why don't you just walk away from it altogether since you're obviously suffering from negative flashbacks.

I've had that feeling of leaving a party and not remembering what just happened, does that count? Honestly it's from a fan perspective. We all know it's best to have 12 rounds because of the damage the boxers take, but there are so many great 15 rounders and it makes you wonder how some fights would have turned out.

You don't exactly see boxers excited and going on strikes to get back 15 rounds, no matter what the reason was that 15 rounds was reduced to 12 rounds. That's because it's enough hard work to prepare your body to go 12 rounds. I can't go 12 rounds, so i'm not gonna ask for some one to go 15 rounds for my entertainment. That's too much and boxing already has enough fighters gassing out even before 12 rounds.

Now Makavelli's idea about OT if a fight is scored a draw sounds better, but an OT of only 1 more round should be enough.
