[QUOTE=iNDOLiFER;10081358]No he didn't. If you want to criticize him for that fine. But Manny has done this 3 times.
Floyd beat the reigning 154 lb champ at 154 lbs to win the title. He then went back to the weight where he was undisputed lineal champ. Manny fought for the 154 lb title vs. an opponent who was 1-1 at the weight because their promoter pulled strings behind the scenes. We can agree this is a HUGE difference.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 02-09-2011, 02:19 PM.Comment

[QUOTE=Big Dunn;10081380]how is it a huge difference?? they both didnt defend their 154 title and u were giving manny ***** for not defending the 154 title but yet its ok for floyd since he beat the guy who previously was the 154 champ? the point is floyd still didnt defend it and like u said a page back its easier to beat someone at that weight than to defend it right? theres no difference between what floyd did and what manny did... your whole point of this was manny not defending the 154 title and floyd didnt either but since its manny then lets give him ***** for it?No he didn't. [QUOTE=iNDOLiFER;10081411]I edited my post to say you can criticize floyd if you want. Floyd doesn't have a history of doing this while Manny does.

[QUOTE=Big Dunn;10081432]im not gonna criticize floyd im criticizing your post lol... u were giving manny all kinda ***** for not defending his 154 title saying if he has that belt at that weight then he should defend it then when the table turns to floyd, oh its ok for floyd to do that... ok??? there is no difference between what floyd and manny did, u can try to sugar coat it all u want but they "both" didnt defend their 154 title.. and u didnt answer my other question, i said who is there left in the 135 division besides jmm for manny during that time?? i can careless if floyd or manny defend their 154 title because to me if they win that title then thats that.. im not gonna knock them for not defending it since they gave it back already... now if they were to be going around claiming their the 154 champ then thats a whole another story..Last edited by iNDOLiFER; 02-09-2011, 02:33 PM.Comment

[QUOTE=iNDOLiFER;10081448]its not ok for floyd to do it. That said, Manny has done it multiple times, 130, 140, 154. And at this weight a defense more warranted because the title was won vs an opponent not worthy of the title fight. To me the pattern represents a problem. Doesn't matter who was left there is no title defense.

so what your saying is u rather have manny defend his 135 and 140 title against less competitive fighters that will get run down quick by manny? and if this was the case then people will ***** on manny again for not going up in weight to fight more competitive fighters... its never gonna end for manny, the ones that discredit him will always feel the same way regardless of his accomplishments in the future.. theres always gonna be the ones that said he didnt fight this guy or that guy, etc. after all his accomplishments i dont see how one can discredit the guy for the things he has done.. this dude never brags about his accomplishments or has he ever said that his opponents were easy win..its not ok for floyd to do it.
