U do know the 145 was just the limit to come in on during weight in right? On fight night cotto outweight manny, so where are u going with this?? IMO Manny didn't have the stones to fight Cotto at the true ww max. Manny felt he had an advantage over Cotto at 145 otherwise he wouldn't have asked for it. If Cotto could train only to make 147 and not to lose the extra 2lbs, it may have had an effect on the fight. I don't know for sure. But you don't either. IMO, it must have made a difference or Manny wouldn't have asked for it.
