100% agreed. But I wouldn't call him overrated. He beat everybody they put in front of him till Floyd, and accepted the hardest challenges even after the loss to Floyd. His heart made up for his lack of chin so to speak(IMHO), and there is no denying that Chico(RIP)could ****in crack with the best of um. So I just can't bring myself to say he was overrated Bruhnlaw. Chico vs. JLC I is a throwback classic. IMO one of the best fights in the past 20 years.

My post was not meant to call out Corrales or say he's garbage, he's not, OBVIOUSLY. But he's no Barrera.

Barerra was stopped once, by pac. the ts is acting like he was washed up because of his grueling fights by the time Pac beat Barrera.

He keeps saying Corrales was prime, but corrales prime< barrera close to prime (arguably).
We on the same page now. I had to play catch up. The only part where I see us agreeing to disagree is weither Chico was overrated. I cant say that. I think Chico earned every bit of his notoriety as a tough customer inside the ropes.

But I do think that Chico was like a spectacular meteorite shower. Hot and bright but fades as it streaks across the sky. That was his career in a nutshell for me.

I do agree with the bolded.

        Touche

You must like to argue because I doubt he would get in my top 20 of this generation.

And how many times did he spit that gum shield out

The question is which win is more impressive, not who was better Corrales or Barrera asswipe!

While I understand whatchu sayin potna. Lets not change the outcome of the fight. It was ruled what??????????? TKO or DQ, dont make up your own ending is all I'm sayin.

So great you've seen the fight, so have I. But it's literally been over a decade since I've seen it. How about you?

I think some of you are misinterpreting the question, I'm asking which win was more impressive, not which win was more significant, or who was better Corrales or Barrera.

I remember that fight with Pac and Barrera. I remember thinking "Who is this guy? Some Asian lamb/Tune-up fight for Barerra....."

He throughly whipped Barerra's Ass. I was a fan from that moment on...

Only a moron argues that corrales was undefeated so that win was better. That's a terrible terrible argument.

Corrales was undefeated. So is lateef kayode I'm pretty sure, uss isn't so is a win over kayode a better win than one over kayode?
