Come on Bruhnlaw. You know just as well as I know, back then Angel was a monster, he found religion and softened up a bit, but he was beast back in the mid-late 90's. Ivan, Stevie, Floyd, Arturo, and Paez.

Chico at the time of the Floyd fight was a bonified beast. Smoke Gainer wasn't no chump.

hey ******, what do you think the second part of the below post that I posted on the second page of this thread is saying?

        Justin Juuko?

Corrales was overrated on a pfp level at the time, in a big way.

Floyd smoked him though, it a pretty amazing performance but looking spectacular against a lesser fighter doesn't beat looking excellent against a significantly more skilled and better fighter in all aspects.

Barrera is a legend, Corrales is not.

Barrera has proved his abilities at the highest level time and time again but Corrales always fell short.

            Barrera > Corrales.

            Think that obvious.

Junior Jones was literally better than anyone Corrales had faced up to that point. he was actually a very good fighter, just had a bad chin.

Barrera before fighting Pac had beaten the likes of Hamed, Morales, McKinney, Tapia and Kelly. Every one of those wins is better than any win Corrales at that point in his career.

and I could even bring up the fact that Corrales was unfocused, stressed out from being in court and having found out pretty recently that he was going to jail prior to the Mayweather fight, but that seems unnecessary.

In Pacquiao-Barrera, Pacquiao was the underdog. In Mayweather-Corrales, Mayweather was the favorite. I'm a big Mayweather fan but I won't deny that his resume, although it does not look bad, sucks for a fighter with his talent and skills. There could've been Cotto, Margarito, Tszyu, Forrest, Pacquiao, or even Berto, etc. in his resume. $h!t, he could've clean out the welterweight division when it was considered the glamour division in '07 but he retired like a b!tch after fighting HitandHugMan Hatton.

pac was supposed to be a tune up fight for barrera. he had to go one weight up to accept the fight. nobody expected him to win...he was a huge underdog and for all good reasons.

i can't remember if floyd was the underdog going into the fight with corrales but even if he was it should be close.

going by those circustances, i would say pac's win was more impressive. he defied the odds and gave barrera his worst beating so far.

Look at this idiot.. You start a poll then when someone gave you a reply that you dont like, you bash their post...Pac was beating Barrera up in that fight.

MAB never won a single round other than the first. And the only reason he won that round is because Laurence Cole ruled a knockdown on Pac when clearly it was a slip..MAB was being dominated from the start to a KO finish..

You equate that plus the fact that MAB status as P4P# 3, and at the height of his career, then its clear that it was a better win..
