ukwingchunstudent might be a Haye fan (not for very much longer I think) but I can't deny he's a funny f**ker. Solid fight analyst as well. Kinda like the British version of Dwyer.. er... not that I'm saying they look alike or anything...

I was referring to their thoroughness in fight breakdowns and generally excellent analyses. And the fact that they look the same. Oh crap, did I say that out loud?We gotta get tweeting David Haye:

***it, I wrote a reply and firefox crashed just as I was about to post.Ok, here we go again. Wlad wanted to fight Haye in April but Haye couldn't secure a Sky deal. The next available date that both sides agreed on was July 2nd. This is the last time I'm going to explain this point to you so hopefully it will sink in this time.
With regards to Chisora, since the Haye fight couldn't happen in April, and since he had previously agreed to fight Chisora in Dec but then had to pull out due to injury, he scheduled the Chisora fight for the date that Haye couldn't secure. If he didn't schedule the Chisora fight for April, and if Haye then pulled out of the July 2nd date, that would mean that he would be inactive for almost a year, probably more because it would take time to get a new fight, and he didn't want to take that risk.
Also, the timeline isn't 9 weeks, Haye can train from the moment he signs for the fight, which would give him 5 months if he were to sign now. And have no doubt, the moment he signs, the promotion will begin, Chisora fight or not. It's not as if people are forbidden from talking about Wlad-Haye because Wlad has another fight in between.
I'm not writing that stuff again.
OK, now I get your point about the dates, and I understand why Chisora is in April if the date was unsecured anyways, and I also understand the need for Wlad to get some ringtime.
But what I don't understand, is giving an unreasonable man an ultimatum.
FACT: Wlad's ultimatum will not affect Haye's decision, it will more likely *** the fight..... and I am sure that Wlad is aware of that, so I don't think that giving Haye an "out" was the best idea for Wlad.
If Haye walks away, he will ridicule Wlad for the rest of his natural life.
Believe it ^^
You want that ?
The perfect scenario would be to give Haye everything he wants in order to force the fight. This one has got away from K2, they need to do whatever they need to do in order to get this fight done, and move on.
BTW, don't think for one second that I am a Haye fan who cares about his financial interests, because I couldn't give a toss. I just want to see that fight happen, and I do not want Haye to be let off the hook because he perceives K2 to be "unreasonable". Haye could walk away from that fight, especially if he thinks he has reason to accuse K2 of ducking him.
All I want is for the obstacles to be removed, and that ultimatum will not help this situation.Comment

I think it should be clear by now that Haye doesn't want this fight and even if the Chisora fight is canceled, he will likely find another excuse not to fight. And rest assured, few people care if Haye spends the rest of his life insulting K2 because by now everyone with a brain bigger than a walnut realizes what a joke he is. The only people still supporting him are doing so either because of his race or his nationality and nothing will ever change their minds about him.***it, I wrote a reply and firefox crashed just as I was about to post.

He could but fewer and fewer people would believe his claims of "ducking" with every passing day and couple of years down the line no one will even remember his name. An exaggeration of course, but a retired boxer's bleatings have a habit of falling on deaf ears after a while, especially when that boxer is as annoying and self-aggrandizing as Haye.Comment

Wlad is a piece of garbage plain & simple. He conveniently releases this ultimatum after seeing a May 21st date for Haye on boxrec..
Ever since his 6'8 bodyguard was excluded from the slave contracts, Wlad has been playing these ******ed games with the scheduling. He booked his entire 2011 calender specifically to exclude Haye. He wont give Haye any date before or after July 2nd, but a bum with 14 fights, and a pillow fisted Pole are allowed all the flex in the world?
Wlad doesnt want to fight. He is purposely creating obstacles to defer the fight to big bro, its clear as day.Comment

If he would have not backed out of the fight for July 2nd the fight would have been promoted from the moment it was signed. There's nothing saying the promotion has to wait until the Chisora fight is finished.Comment
