Is Humberto Soto an avoided fighter?

i dont know too much about him (only really seen a highlight reel on youtube), but he doesnt really seem to be mentioned by people. I know this is a general/vague question.

Well Anthony Peterson wanted a piece of him, so does Brandon Rios, so no.

he was, doesn't seem to be anymore. I guess that's what happens when you go life and death with urbano.

he never seemed to develop a $ following and was too much risk/reward. esp prior to 135

I heard a rumour the edwain valero avoided him or is that just one of those statements that was said by some fanboy boxing "expert"?

Anybody with 200 loses is bad for a star opponent. Bums and journeymen who has more losses would happily take on him though.

Yeah, it seemed pretty clear that he (or at least Arum) wasn't too keen on having Peterson as an opponent.

At 130 maybe he was a beast there but at 135 no hes totally different hes lost so much power and at this stage of his career it seems he knows hes on the slide though still pretty good and if anyones doing the avoiding its him this coming from a fan of his

So what's keeping Rios vs Sotto from getting made?

I think the winner of Acosta-Rios is suppose to fight him.
