Everyone know's Pacquiao cant go any higher than WW, he even said it himself after Miguel Cotto. Pacquaio should clean up the WW division by beating Mosley, Berto and Mayweather.

I didn't watch it.
Somebody at work mentioned it a few days later, so I caught it on YouTube.
I was actually a struggling wannabe Manny-fan at that stage, so I was initially disappointed that I missed the show. The fortnight that followed, is the lowest point in Manny's career imho.
This post was made a few days later, it will explain why.....

Up until about 7-8 days ago, I was a struggling, confused, Manny admirer, who tolerated his ***wit fan-boy's. Well, I am no longer ANY of those things. Four things happened during the last week-or-so, that have changed everything for me.
That 60 minutes show was a real eye-opener. During that show it became absolutely obvious to me that Manny was a hype-job with a manufactured resume'. He is a terrific fighter, don't get me wrong, but Manny has been given pass, after pass, after pass, after pass..... by everyone, including me. I made excuses for Manny, when I should have - and did - know better. And now, because of his 8th divisional title, Manny is being passed off as the GOAT? Oh please, what a fkn joke.
That's when I realised the impact that a show like 60 minutes can have on non-boxing fans. The vacant JMW title that Manny won by beating a slow, plodding, mediocre, shop-worn, welterweight BUM, with no KO power, who could not even currently compete with the top welter's..... was being used as proof that Manny was the GOAT. That title is a poor joke.
Then came Martinez.....
Bob Arum stated that Manny Pacquiao could beat Sergio Martinez.....
Then Arum stated that Manny could not beat Sergio Martinez.....
And then came Marquez, at 147.....
So, Manny will not fight the old-age pensioner Marquez unless the bout is held at 147. The already stretched Marquez has to go up two divisions to fight Pacquiao, and yet Manny will not even defend his JMW title vs Martinez at 154. WTF?
Then I started to think about it and realised that there has been controversy involving every single Pacquiao fight, without exception, since before Marquez II. Catch-weights, shop-worn opponents, exhibition match's passed off as title fights, lucky decisons, OST issues, bizarre occurences both in and out of the ring, in house match-ups, and the list goes on.
And then, you look at who else is involved, Arum, Roach, Ariza.
The fourth event, and straw that broke the camels back, was when I strongly objected to the fact that Manny would not fight Marquez at 140. We all know that Manny is a JWW, and that he could easily make 140. We also know that JMM is irrelevant above 135, and would be clearly out-matched even at JWW.
So, I try to explain this, and reason with a number of Pacquiao fan's. I get told "the pee drinker deserves a beating, Manny makes the rules he is the P4P king, JMM has no chance at 147 and Manny will KTFO that cry-baby".
I try to reason with them some more, explaining that this should be a fairer contest, and that Marquez is getting set up here. They say "stfu up *****, tell your idol he is on holiday, Marquez will take the beating instead of Floyd". WTF? I had never even mentioned Mayweather, not once.
Just one nutcase poster? Hardly. Most Pacquiao fans insist "*** that crybaby, he can come to 147 and take his beating". And every valid point you make = " hard luck, Manny is the draw ".
The general opinion of most Pacquiao fan's is that Manny makes the rules because he can, and who cares that a fairer contest would be better for boxing, as well as for Manny's legacy. All that matters is that Manny wins. It does not matter who he beats, or how he beats them, just as long as he wins.
I'm not perfect, I have the odd little issue in life, as well as a couple of bad habits, but my biggest issue is..... unreasonable people.
I am a huge believer in the golden rule, and I admire George Bernard Shaw's Unreasonable Man.....
" The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man ". Well, not in my fkn world it doesn't.
I said earlier that hate is a strong word, but it is an understatement when it comes to how I feel about unreasonable people. I object to sharing the planet with them. *** them, they have no worth, to anyone.
I am hard on unreasonable people. If I caught someone in my house, I may not stop hitting him just coz the stick broke.
It is fair to say that I got a little bit riled about the Marquez issue
I want to be less "confrontational" shall we say, and even though I strongly disrespect a number of posters, I do not want to be abusive. I want to fit in, like the reasonable man in GBS's quote.
But there are two problems. It is very hard to ignore unreasonable cvnts. And what if Pac/JMM is made at 147? If that fight does get made, then a lot of people are gonna get real sick of me, I can tell you that for free..... and no ***er better walk out in front of my car wearing a Manny t-shirt.
So, now that I have calmed down a bit, what do I do about my 6 "Manny is a coward" reasons? Do I take them back? And if so, how? Those 6 reasons have been closely scrutinised, and most definitely have not been rebutted.
My new tag..... will remain until I decide what to do.

Actually you are wrong again. Cotto was coming off a victory over Clottey when he fought Manny. Using your logic when Shane fought Floyd then Shane was coming off the loss to Cotto like Judah was coming off the loss to Balodimr. Your logic again says Oscar was coming off loss to Hopkins when Floyd fought him. Your logic is so flawed its laughable.
Floyd beat Hatton at a weight Hatton has never been god at. Manny beat Hatton at a weight he was undefeated at. Margarito lost to Mosley but just before that he beat Cotto. How many losses did Castillo have when Floyd fought him? Should we lok back at some of Floyd or Shane or Cottos other wins. They are all coming off losses in most cases. Man, if you can't name other boxers doing what Pacquiao did, then don't say Pacquiao or Arum is killing the sports of Boxing!
Boxing has been for a while irrelevant as a sport ... until Pacquiao came!

SON this is how the game works, if he was past his prime then he was, at least floyd fought the champion at a weight class without a catch weight.... THAT AUTOMATICALLY MAKES IT BETTER, YOU NOR ANYONE CAN DENY THAT!!!
Look at delahoya, he won his fame beating Julio cesar Chavez.... But chavez was outta his prime too. Th epoint is you gotta nkow when to get out, or you will take some losses. Ali comes to mind.

Floyd then recieved tons of flack as to why he was not fighting baldomir, and why he was fighting judah, he then proceeded to SHAME BALDOMIR, WHOM WEIGHED IN OVER 160...i HAVENT BEEN HERE LONG ENOUGH TO POST VIDS SO YOU WILL HAVE TO CHECK FOR YOURSELF.
Regarding Cooto with foreman, Gomez, etc. No one will ever accuse cotto of cherry picking as he always fought tough matches, win lose or draw. He was fighting people coming off of wins too! As I just showed you with manny this is not the case.
154 isnt very strong either, but a fighter like cotto needs this at this time, because many feel as well as myself that he was cheated by margarito, his confidence needs to come back.
So dont get upset and start screaming ***** etc as I am simply stating facts.

Margarito used loaded-wraps on Cotto.
In his last three fights he has had no power at all, and Roach confirmed that he knew which fights Margarito used his wraps in, by studying the tapes while preparing Manny. Freddie said that his punches were distinctly different in various fights.
Margarito was never an elite fighter, or even close.
It is absurd that you think Margarito could compete at 154, he could not currently even beat any of the top welters.
Cotto beats him in a fair rematch, and with Steward, probably easily imo.
The overrated K9 beats him, P-Will beats him (again), Dzinziruk beats him, Angulo beats him up, Rhodes beats him, Martirosyan beats him, Powell beats him, even the inexperienced Canelo beats Marg.
Jeez, even those idiot's Clottey and Cintron abuse cheato at this point.

Don't be ridiculous. Are you a dishonest fan-boy, like those other guys ?
Margarito and Clottey both battered Cotto. EVERYBODY was saying that Cotto looked shop-worn and faded after Clottey. Miguel was not on top of his game, he had no trainer to speak of, and he most definitely was not in his prime..... plus, Pacquiao tried to drain him on the scales.
Hatton had his chin cracked, and his will broken, by Mayweather.
Deal with it !!
Who cares if Hatton was at his " best weight " vs Manny ?
Ricky was not on top of his game, just like Cotto, just like Margarito, just like Hoya, and just like Marquez will be at 147.
