When did Margo go down against cotto? Is there a trilogy between cotto and Margo we don't know about, because from the 2 fights Margo never came lose to going down let alone being hurt..smh

Go to YouTube , you'll see Cotto stop dead in his tracks numerous of times, as well as being slightly wobbled while taking the looping right hand from Mosely, you'll hear old Merchant, Lampley and Steward refer to Cotto being hurt and stun throughout the fight

I've watched that fight plenty of times. The only time I remember him being visibly hurt is Benjy Esteves stepped in between them to clean water off the ring. BS timing for sure, but not like Cotto was on ***** street. He gassed around the 7th and began to jab going backwards and outboxed Mosley in the majority of the late rounds.

Both Mosley and Clottey outlanded Cotto in power punches landed in their fights.

He did outbox Mosely, Cotto fought a beautiful tactical fight, I watched it too and he was stun plenty, I'm just saying just because fighter A hurt Fighter B doesn't mean he'll hurt fighter C. Styles make fights, cotto doesn't match up well with mayweather, he is short and while mayweather only being an inch taller mayweather has a 6 inch reach advantage it's like mayweather is equal to Margo or Del La Hoya heigh, to me thats the best attribute mayweather has and that's why it's difficult for fighters when they fight him

I understand where you're coming from. Mosley has more one punch power than Cotto at WW and probably at JMW too. Cotto will have be perfect in every area to compete with Floyd. Could it happen? Of course. Will it happen? Probably not, but I'll support him the whole way.

Cotto can pull it off, he does stay focus, and he is mentally and physically strong, he just have to believe in his game plan, and the biggest thing is his condition, Big Floyd said he sees Cotto giving his son the toughest fight in years, and eventhough the mayweather's are loony I tend to believe big Floyd, he said the same thing about Del La Hoya and look how close that fight was

The point is, an older version of Mosley was able to rock Floyd and almost knocked him out, and that was in welter. At 154, Miguel will bring more power and if he touches Floyd like that, Mayweather will be in trouble.
That point might have some merit if Cotto had a right hand but he doesnt. Cotto is a left handed fighter that fights right handed. Cotto doesnt have the power right hand that Mosley has. Cottos gonna have to fight on the inside in order to get off that left hook.
