And lets not forget that theres a reason why floyd ducked a prime Cotto for 6+ years

I don't see Cotto getting stopped unless by a bad cut. When was the last time when Floyd actually stopped anyone? And please don't cite the Ortiz as example of a KO. The dude was ****** not to defend himself. The last time Floyd stopped anyone is really about 4.5 years ago.

Also, it's gonna be interesting to see how fit Floyd will be. He is 35 years old. I am don't see enough aggression to stop Cotto unless Cotto is badly injured by cuts (scar tissues does build up over time.)

His trainer Diaz seems really solid,
but as far as taking Cotto to new heights, against Mayweather the only thing I see is Cotto being systematically broken down with accurate punches. You will see how superior Mayweather's defense and offense is.
