The Brawler style.*I think he will have to try to work Floyd to the ropes using good footwork and a stiff jab to the body. once on the ropes i think he will try to flurry to the body and then back off letting floyd off the ropes ******** just a bit to each time to see if he can land an effective power shot. but not committing fully to each assault. I think once he get's a feel for him on the ropes and knows he have truly let loose he will be slightly more conservative in this approach.*

    Really hard to trap Floyd
but hoping Cotto body shots are
    in full effect May 5th

The problem today is people's idea of fighting (Boxing or MMA) professionally is the measuring stick, but you're limited to rules.

How many people are going to challenge Floyd on the street w/ out 6 bodyguards attacking the person? Bruce got challenged on the set of every movie he ever filmed (and by top notch Martial Artists in their own right) and he would annihilate them within seconds. Anyone who regards Lee as "just" an actor clearly never did their research on the guy. He was the real deal.
Bruce Lee was an ACTOR with martial arts background.

He was not the real deal or the real anything..

Floyd is a world class boxer..that is PROVEN..

Bruce Lee beating up a bunch of NOBODIES in street fights means nothing....

The fact he was lured so easilly into street fights points more to insecurity and insanity than talent..

I don't care if he did push ups with his eye lids....he was just an ACTOR....a tiny little actor at that..

Yeah i know. Depends if Cotto comes out as the aggressor or boxer. that's why i think one will set up the other. If Cotto is going backwards consistently by the end of round 2 this fight is over.

dud how do you think the clinch will play into this fight? boxing fans always ignore clinching when imagining a fight. We know Floyd is a clinch master, and Cotto just recently learned how to clinch

I do think this will be more of a boxing match though. But come mids rounds floyd will press, Cotto has been shook before and i think floyd knows his accuracy can do it again. that's why i think Cotto's head movement comes into play. He needs to have some energy reserve for defense... if he doesn't i don't think there will be a round 12.
Floyd isnt known for a lot of things...but that doesn't mean he doesn't have those things..

If Cotto is there for uppercuts you'll see plenty of them..

Cotto squares-up perfectly for Floyd's body-jab...when he jumps on his bike..he'll find the tires are flat...
