I think Cotto needs a sick liver shot after a big combination.
I'm sure it'd be really hard to get though since Mayweather tends to leave his left arm covering his body and his right hand up higher with the right side of his body turned away from the opposing fighter. He needs to find that slick opening moment.Comment

He has to use his unique tools and a varying strategy.
The Jab, not only to do damage but to control the distance and immobilize May.
I actually think Cotto needs to continue to move, box with a lot of lateral movement, then mix it up and come forward aggressively behind the jab.
one important thing for him to do is get Floyd's respect early with some hard and clean punches landed upstairs and down. I really do think Floyd has decided to come forward more lately because his legs aren't quite what they used to be, not saying he doesnt move well just not like he used to.
Look cotto has to fight a great near perfect fight and still that might not be enough but I think he has a much better chance than most give him.
Couple other intangibles, dont give up the 10 OZ gloves, make Floyd as unfamiliar as possible.
Dont be timid about giving it to Floyd on the beltline, whatever it takes to get him out of his rhythm.Comment
